We recently saw that Asus is going to include
Splashtop on all of its
future motherboards. Now the news is that Asus is also going to include Splashtop (known as "Express Gate" to Asus) on its notebooks.
Splashtop is a lightweight version of Linux that boots up nearly instantly, thus you don't need to boot up a full OS for simple tasks, such as checking your email or making VOIP calls.
