According to PC World Asus intends to launch a rival to Apple's iMac sometime in September.  The new device, called the Eee Monitor, will join the existing Eee Range and will be available with Linux or Windows XP.  Don't expect the Eee Monitor to have the glamour of Apple's products as most likely it will continue the 'cheap and functional' design that the current Eee devices have.
